Getting your décor prepared for a Saturday night takeaway!

Saturday nights can often feel like the best thing ever! Comfort, relaxation, and a good old Saturday night takeaway with friends, family, and loved ones! But what about the décor? How can you prepare and make your home look great for guests and friends without having to cut through that much-needed RELAXATION are our best tips and tricks on how to make your home look and feel fabulous during a lazy night in!

  1. Know what you want with your takeaway Saturday night

Firstly, you need to make sure you know what you want from your Saturday night takeaway. Are you wanting to sit and watch a movie? Be pampered or sit and have a natter whilst playing some old-time favourite board games? This is the main factor that will play a part in how you are going to prepare your home and make it as comfortable and easy as possible for the agenda that you are setting for yourself for the night!

  1. Be prepared for a mess

No matter what you’re thinking of doing, prepare for a mess! There’s nothing worse than spilling curry, pizza, or anything on your décor-tastic sofa, carpet,t r anything of that matter of fact – so prepare for the worst, so that if it happens, your décor ststays intactWhether that be by making a cute dining table set up to hint to your friends that this is where you will be eating, then so be it! Or maybe even set up a picnic-like rug on your floor for a more chilled vibe! This means you can still chill out and sit on the floor for your Saturday night takeaway, but still ensure that you’re prepared for spillages.

  1. Get your munchie game on!

Up the game! If it’s a movie night you’re wanting, popcorn and munchies are almost a must! Get one of your gorgeous serving bowls out and just empty the packet of popcorn or sweets into the bowls! Easy to pass around, looks great, and it even eliminates the problem of irritating and loud crunching noises when people are passing round the plastic bag – (literally the worst thing ever when at the cinemas)!

  1. Be comfy

If you’re wanting a relaxing and fun night in, make sure to be ready to snuggle up! It’s great to have throws and blankets around and ready for when you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy your night! Maybe even pop on a few candles to relax even more – they look amazing and will smell amazing too, getting rid of any potent takeaway smells!

  1. HAVE FUN!

HAVE FUN! Whilst you may want your home to look its best, it’s also so important to remember that this is your night too! Your night to relax and take a time out! So, enjoy yourself, have fun, and chill out!
